Neil has been on the forefront of criticism of mp3, and rightly so. It will be part of his legacy. Love that man.

Love that reggae!

Unfortunately yes it does.

When hip hop first come in, the originators like Queen Latifa, Grand Master Flash, Arrested Development etc. were upbeat, positive and socially responsible. Then, as the old-time people say: "Where the light is bright, the shadows are dark" and soon the PTB shapeshifting creeps from the shadow world push in the gangsta rap to dominate the genre

Same in the reggae; they corrupt sweet reggae dancehall into fraud reggae dunce hell ... and these sick little supe-up-star come to dominate the stage as a pathetic role model for the young generations.

This is not the superficial argument as some say: "I prefer this genre to that genre." We talking about very sociopathic if not psychopathic elements directly causing nuff blood shed due to sick role models misguiding the youth.

Luci sharing some insights about these issues (starting 4:00) if ya don't speak Patwa suggest visit your nearest coherent Jamaican for a translation. He also talking some truth about misuse of the cannabis medicine part of the troubles too.

Neil was always my very favorite, but reggae long ago took over. Seen him probably ten times, each one excellent.

Love that reggae!

world seemed pretty violent long before "gangsta rap" came into being.. whether in Jamaica or the US. I love Neil Young too... but technology has always changed how music is.. and the music industry is.
