Featuring Mattia, the One Man Army
Mattia started to fall in love with Jamaican music in the ’90s and soon had a DJ residency at the U-Club in Wuppertal, Germany, one of Europe’s biggest spots for reggae & dancehall music.
His Warrior Sound build a dubplate collection and stepped into the clash arena. In 2019 Warrior Sound won the Reggae Sumfest Clash in Jamaica and the Clash at Sea at Damian Marley’s Welcome to Jamrock Cruise. Two Appearances at the Worldclash, two Titles at the War Ina East and a clash win against Bass Odyssey in Germany speak for themselves. When the pandemic hit, Warrior Sound created a daily livestream called “The Shutdown Show.” Reggae Fans from all over the world tuned into the stream and it helped a lot of people to get through the dark times.
Mattia founded the Warrior Sound Music label in 2021 and has released and produced music with some of Reggae greatest Artists: Sizzla, Fantan Mojah, Perfect, Suku, Million Stylez, Noah Powa, Nature Ellis, Dre Island just to name a few.
