Blvk H3ro

Blvk H3ro is one of Jamaica’s most exciting young artists, with a fervent following built on soulful solo tracks and cutting edge musical sensibility. Rooted in reggae and dancehall, his infectious, genre-bending music draws from a boundless range of musical influences and experiences.

Through his journey, H3ro has been mentored by some of reggae’s most celebrated voices. In November 2019, Bunny Wailer tapped him to appear on what would prove to be the final tour of his six-decade-long career. In addition to performing onstage with the Wailers legend, Blvk H3ro recorded more than a half-dozen tracks with the iconic singer.

H3ro’s first album “The H3rb Connoisseur” exploded onto the scene in 2016, a fusion soundtrack of dancehall, reggae, and trap music. “New Millennium,” his followup to 2019’s “The Immortal Steppa” boasted collaborations with fellow rising stars Teejay, NationBoss and Iotosh, and a fresh batch of influences and sounds, from afrobeats to jazz. Leading the hype for the project is the single “It Nuh Easy”, a track that Andrew Holness, Jamaica’s prime minister, recently praised in a speech to the nation.

In 2021, he was tapped to appear on UB40’s latest album, “Bigga Baggariddim”, placing all three tracks that he submitted for the project.

He received a Grammy™ nomination in 2022 for ”Neva Bow Down” with Rocky Dawuni (Best Global Music Performance).

Blvk H3ro is a rising star, and we are pleased to welcome him for his debut performance at Sierra Nevada World Music Festival.
