Nevada World Music Festival is proud to present one of the top local bands from Angels
Camp: Alma Melodiosa The unique sounds and sensation generated by the Alma Melodioso band
are born out of the mysterious alchemy that exist between its members and the rhythms of
many colorful cultures. Drawing influence from all over the world, Alma Melodiosa blends
the richness of Flamenco, Jazz, worldbeat and Reggae. Originating from California, Spain,
Canada, Hawaii and Wyoming, the "Melodious Souls" bring on their exciting mix,
leaving crowds dancing and inspired. The vocal harmonies of Spanish native Kathy Miletich
and Canadian Felicity Morton lead the band, and are backed up strongly by top instrumental
talent. Percussion is a strong feature,
creating jamdown rhythms that do not stop. Their performances at many West Coast music
festivals and clubs have built a strong fan base. The sound is remarkably clean, not
cluttered, with a sense of freshness… a wide open sky. Anyone who has seen them
