SNWMF 2017 will be featuring several dance performances and workshops that will be fun and entertaining for everyone! All of the performers listed will be showcased on the "Solstice Lawn" except where noted. Performances will take place during the day, both Saturday and Sunday. You can find the Solstice Lawn by the craft vendors that are across from the Food Court. This is in addition to tons of fun stuff in the Kids Zone.

Here's the list of dance performances and workshops that were conducted at SNWMF 2016:

Samba Stilt Circus
Samba Stilt Circus is a collective of musicians, stilt walkers, dancers, and circus artists. Since 2006, the group has brought high-energy flare by blending traditional Brazilian drum rhythms with original music. Animated stilt walkers and elaborate costuming on top of the infectious rhythmic percussion create a one-of-a-kind entertainment atmosphere that is the perfect catalyst for an inclusive, joyful, body-rocking dance party! They will be roaming around the fairgrounds all weekend long.

Holistic Hooping & Tahoe Fire Dancers
Both Holistic Hooping and Tahoe Fire Dancers will be sharing their Flow Art skills on The Solstice Lawn! Join them all weekend long, where you can witness their talented dancers spin hoops, staffs, poi, juggle and more! They will be offering demonstrations, as well as used tools and personalized instruction, so you YOU TOO can learn the Art of FLOW! Flow Tools provided by:

  Yoga with Karen Small
For over 12 years Karen has traveled across county to teach yoga at Sierra Nevada. Sierra Nevada World Music Festival is one of the very first festivals in the country to offer yoga! Each morning, we meet in unity and greet the solstice sun with breath and body movement. Solstice Yoga has a new location, across from the Food Court in the middle merchant bowl at the new Yoga Tent! Karen Small has been teaching yoga since 2002, met the national yoga teaching standards and is RYT200 Certified through the Yoga Alliance. Come as you are... bring a yoga mat, towel, water and a smile! Karen added "Kids Yoga" each day after the Solstice Yoga Practice located in the Kid's Zone.
