QUEEN OMEGA

Jeneille Osborne alias QUEEN OMEGA is originally from Trinidad.
Only 23 years old, this young artist has already achieved an interesting musical career.
At a very young age, with her mother at her side, she sang in church and elsewhere in her
rasta community.
One day, Queen Omega was discovered by Micky D. artistic director
of the recording studio Jet Star who, a few years back, had launched the career of Junior
Kelly. It is during one of her concerts in Trinidad that Micky D. became enthralled with
her talent, her ability to sing reggae and her way of "toasting on the
Dancehall".
A few months later she flew to London to record her first album
"QUEEN OMEGA". Well received, this first effort allowed her the opportunity to
show her talent to both the English and Jamaican public.
It is with the title"WARNING" with SIZZLA & CAPLETON
that she truly revealed herself. They were the two most popular singers from Jamaica at
that time and this coming together created many fans.
In 2002 she returned to England for a series of concerts, opening
for Luciano & Junior Kelly. It is during this tour that she recorded
"Retire" her first title produced by Special Delivery Music, the producers of
her new album: "DESTINY".

In 2003 things began to move faster
for the young woman from Trinidad who recorded two albums on the famous label Jet Star.
"PURE LOVE" & "AWAY FROM BABYLON" came out the same year and
allowed Queen Omega to establish herself. She is today the rising feminine Root &
Culture star that those on the reggae scene have been waiting for.
QUEEN OMEGA is a singer song writer and just like her elders,
Capleton, Sizzla or Anthony B. She brings together a strong rasta belief and impressive
abilities in Roots or Dancehall styles. Because of it she has already, at such a young
age, made active fans in Europe, the United States, Africa and of course the Caribbean.
THE RECORD "DESTINY":
In 2005 QUEEN OMEGA came out with her fourth album "DESTINY" produced on
the French label SPECIAL DELIVERY MUSIC. In this new work, done between London and
Jamaica, the riddims are composed and played by SHELDON "CALIBUB" STEWART
(Warrior King, Sizzla, Turbulence...) and BOST & BIM (Riddim Clean Vibes, Storm Alarm,
Lyricson, Matinda......).
There is only one guest but an important one! It is BUJU BANTON,
the Jamaican star who appears on the duet entitled "PERFECT COMBINATION" where
he and QUEEN OMEGA share their vision of a couple. All was mixed in Kingston by STEVEN
STANLEY (Black Uhuru, Jacob Miller, Beres Hammond, Sizzla....) as well as by BARRY O'HARE
who produced and mixed the Grammy Award Album of BURNING SPEAR "Appointment With His
Majesty". As far as live performances go QUEEN OMEGA will tour Europe in April-May
2005 as well as at summer festivals. Her appearance at the12th annual Sierra Nevada World
Music Festival will be her very first performance ever in the Unites States.
