Gov't Culture Minister, Olivia Babsy Grange makes some accurate appraisals of the state of the music biz

But in my opinion she totally misses the reason Ja. reggae music is loosing its international market share. The Ja. reggae music that won hearts across the world and established a new genre on the planet's soundscape during that golden age of the 70' & 80's ain't what it used to be. There's still nuff authentic roots reggae in Ja. but for a variety of reasons its been eclipsed by a shapeshifting monster posing as reggae.

The real deal roots reggae that still carries the 'one love' & 'natural mystic' vibes may be becoming forgotten in Ja. & Merkkka but it is alive and well in much of the rest of the world and people ain't shtoopid => They will drink from their own stream.
