Lutan Fyah grew up in the famed Spanish Town area on the edge of
Kingston. Surrounded by music his whole life it did not take long before Lutan realised
that he was here for a musical purpose. He first gained popularity with a tune called
"Fling Stone" that caught peoples attentionin 1999. He then went on to voice for
reggae legend Buju Banton's Gargamel label with tune called "Giddeon War" that
subsequently became the title of the rhythym that boasted the hottest Rastafarian artists
of the day as well as hit machine Buju Banton himself. Lutan Fyah soon began voicing many
other singles for Buju and quickly became sought after by other producers on the island
and abroad.

He has voiced tunes for labels such as Xterminator,
Jah Warrior, Mac D and Lustre Kings, who he recorded the amazing reggae testament,
"Time and Place" with, scheduled to release fall of 2004. Having toured the
United States, Europe and the Carribean, he has amassed an international audience in
reggae. Peolple immediately respond to his cystal clear vocals and the insightful lyics he
sings. Lutan stands out among other artists due to his creative melodies and poetic
lyrical aproach. He is a modern soldier with an ancient presence. Singing amazing songs
such as "No More War" or "Woman of Principle", Lutan is displays that
rare essence of purpose in all his tunes. Having shared the stage with other reggae greats
such as Capleton, Yami Bolo, Anthony B, Jah Mason, Junior Kelly and Norisman, to name a
few, Lutan Fyah has been primed to take his place within reggae history.
