pat mckay
Born of Jamaican parents, raised in NYC, USA and Kingston, Jamaica. Her unwavering love of Reggae grew naturally out of Caribbean music played in the home and time spent living in Jamaica in childhood. After college radio she hosted the first ever all-Reggae show on a major NYC station, and has contributed to the visibility of this music nationally and internationally. Pat enjoys much love and respect within the Reggae industry, within Jamaica and beyond and tries to live up to the responsibility that comes with this high regard, seeing her place at Sirius XM as another opportunity to contribute to the growth of this genre, which reflects an important cultural movement.
