7th St. Band:
7th St. Band is a foundation out
of Berkeley, California that has
been performing reggae on the
west coast for the last 9 years.
Edi (drummie, founder and
capitan of 7th st.) and Benjamin
(keys & secretary of state) have
known each other since they were
13 years old and have been
making music together since.
Together with Jason (guitar and
founder of the Funkanauts) and
Barry (saxophone) they make up
7th St. Band. They have backed
such artists as: Konshens,
Million Stylez, Pressure,
Perfect, Marlon Asher, Norris
Man, Louie Culture, Mr. Easy,
Mega Banton, Prestige, Tuff
Lion, Army, Danny I, Messenjah
Selah, Lloyd Brown, Prezident
Brown, Winstrong, Arkaingelle,
Junior Toots, Binghi Ghost, Luv
Fyah, Blaak Lung, Malika

Arkaingelle:
Uniting an Afro-Caribbean
perspective
with
the ever strengthening,
pro-African voice of Ras Tafari,
Arkaingelle's blazing vocals and
meditative lyrics have been
resounding thunderously within
the cultural reggae scene from
Brazil to Britain, South Africa
to South America and from the
East Coast to the West Coast of
the United States. Hailing from
Buxton, Guyana, Arkaingelle
delivers heavyweight roots music
with a spiritual message and an
energetic frequency which when
combined are sure to captivate,
uplift, inspire and bring joy to
a broad diversity of audiences.
Arkaingelle's debut album O'PEN
was released in April 2008 on
the AINGELLES MUZIK/GREENSPHERE
LABEL. O'PEN "penetrates the
heart of the listener from
beginning to end, and takes them
to a deeper realm of
consciousness." It is "a
spiritual gathering of positive,
uplifting and smooth tracks."
His standout single, 'Song of
Praise,' on the IGrade
compilation JOYFUL NOISE, is
"remarkably infectious."
Arkaingelle has graced venues
all over the world and always
leaves his audiences captivated
and wanting more. He has shared
the stage with Prezident Brown,
Lutan Fyah, Bambu Station,
Richie Spice, Midnite, Queen
Omega, Ras Attitude, Yami Bolo,
Mega Banton, Wonderful
Counsellor and many more.
Arkaingelle embraces music
compassionately; seeing it as an
instrument that has the
potential and capability to heal
and arouse to higher
consciousness. Currently working
on his second release, BEHOLD,
with Greensphere/Aingelles Muzik,
Arkaingelle is also promoting
his recently released single
'Time Manifest' from Rumble Rock
Records on the album STEP by
STEP RIDDIM.
Junior Toots:
Junior Toots, Crown of Fire, is
a
uniquely talented recording
artist and performer whose
passion for reggae is evident in
his moving live performances &
recordings that inspire all.
Born and raised in Jamaica & the
US, he has a genuine commitment
to socially conscious lyrics and
a determination to express
himself sincerely from within.
This passion can be felt through
his deeply soulful vocal style
that is reminiscent of his
father, renowned reggae artist
Toots Hibbert, of the Toots and
the Maytals.
With a mixture of Reggae, Roots,
R&B, & Reggaeton, Junior Toots
reaches out to all supporters of
conscious music with a message
to unite & uplift. Beyond the
sound of his voice, you can feel
the positive vibrations that he
shares from his heart & soul.

Malika Madremana:
Malika “MotherSista” Madremana
is
honored to represent Rastafari and roots reggae as a
Puerto Rican sista, born in New
York City and raised in Cali.
Since the age of four, Malika
has spent a lifetime on stage.
Rastafari manifested in her life
as a teen- and reggae music had
the greatest impact and
influence upon her ever since.
Heavily influenced by the
legends such as Bob Marley, the
I-three’s, Abyssinians, Hugh
Mundell, Jacob Miller, etc…she
began writing and composing
songs.
Malika officially began her
baptism into the reggae field as
a background singer and vocal
arranger for a number of
prominent and heartical artists.
She has toured and performed
abroad and internationally with
legends such as Wadi Gad, Yami
Bolo, Apple Gabriel, the Mighty
Diamonds, Mikey Dread, Roots
Natty,Bushman, Batch, and Ras
Attitude, among many others.
Malika has performed at numerous
festivals and shows including
the Ragamuffin festival in Long
Beach, the Sierra Nevada Music
Festival, Bob Marley Day
Festival, Dreadstock, and the
Monterrey Reggae Festival. Her
two albums are Healing (2003)
and Elixir (2007), and are a
production built on the talents
of reggae legends and future
greats. A high school teacher by
day, Malika Madremana is still
burning the midnight oil to
create new word sound power for
the generations to come.
Alongside the incredible talents
and fiyah of the 7th Street
band, Malika is bringing the
people the Roots Rock Reggae
they're longing for!
Empress Isheba:
Empress Isheba was born in
Linden, a
village in Guayana,
South America. Musically
influenced early in her life by
the Nyabinghi Church, Isheba
also has been inspired by Bob
Marley, Culture, The Mystic
Revelations of Rastafari,
Midnite and countless others.
Her lyrics chant of and are
rooted by Rastafari. Over the
past five years she has been
spreading her music in
California and has had the
pleasure of working closely with
Malika Madremana. Isheba has
opened for such artists as
Capelton, Arkaingelle, Batch,
Ras Attitude and Sister Carol as
well as performed with Malika
Madremana at Sierra Nevada World
Music Festival. Large Up Empress
Isheba, Royal Rasta Dawtah!
Binghi Ghost:
Binghi Ghost is a reggae
sing-jay with
a
modern style that mixes both
roots and dancehall elements.
He has (2) full length albums
out and is featured on a variety
of riddim compilations and mix
cd’s.
“Binghi Ghost: Street hits” was
released in 2005 on the Street
Scholars label (DJSerg/Relic
Secure Executive producers)
“Binghi Ghost: I’m from a
place…” Was released August 2009
on the Island Sound Records
Label (DJSerg Executive
producer) Binghi Ghost was
raised in the US Virgin Islands
in and around the VI reggae
scene with familiar VI artists
such as Vaughn of Midnite,
Pressure, Army, Danny I, Batch,
Ras Attitude, Abja, Lady
Passion, IBA, I-Grade, Nyorah,
Star Lion Family, Bamboo
Station, Inner Visions, Etc.
Currently Binghi Ghost resides
in the Bay Area, Ca and performs
many live shows with 7th St.
Band, sharing the stage with
fellow showcase artists Luv Fyah,
Army, Danny I & Irae Divine.
Irae Divine:
Irae Divine was born Raynice
Gomillion
in Jersey City, New
Jersey.
Growing up in Philadelphia with
a musically rich family
environment, she began singing
at an early age. Irae sang at
church, in plays, and at talent
shows. She was involved with an
R&B band and was eventually
exposed to Reggae. She fell in
love and was inspired by the
Deep Roots and Culture of the
genre. Black Uhuru, Third World,
Burning Spear, Twinkle Brothers
& Bob Marley helped set the
template and direction of her
musical growth. Irae has sung
backing vocals for such artists
as Messenjah Selah, Chezidek,
Tuff Lion, Army, Danny I,
Arkaingelle, Luv Fyah, Binghi
Ghost and Blaak Lung. She has
also performed along side Taurus
Riley, Anthony B, Kymani Marley,
Midnite and Million Stylez. Irae
found a home with 7th St. Band
about a year ago and has been
putting in work on her own
original material since.
She is currently in the process
of recording her debut solo
release.
Irae Divine's main goal is to
heal and uplift the massive with
love, good music and Roots and
Culture.
